The Mild Colonial Boys (aka the MC Boyz) have traveled the highways and byways of Americana music, collecting and sharing folk songs from the American and Irish traditions. Founding member Rory McNamara and Kyle Alden have been singing and playing together for over twenty-five years. Their shows feature rich musical interplay, vocal harmony and fine guitar picking. Between them, they feature on over two-dozen recordings.

Singer/songwriter and folk musician Kyle Alden is recognized for his award-winning songs based on the poems of Irish poet W.B. Yeats. He supported Irish music legend Paul Brady on his last West coast tour, playing the Napa Opera House and Berkeley’s Freight and Salvage. Kyle is also a member of trad Irish band The Gas Men, where he sings and plays guitar and fiddle. Since the 1970s,

Kicking Mule recording artist Rory McNamara has been performing his unique blend of Irish and American music and song. From the night spots of Northern Europe and the folk music clubs of the British Isles, and from festivals to coffee-shops in the U.S.A., audiences have enjoyed his heartfelt storytelling and singing.
